Report on the Circle Executive Committee Meeting
The CEC meeting was held on 04-01-2020 in the Auditorium Office Of PGM BGTD Bangalore. Comrade N.Nagaraju DS/ACS headquarters welcomed the Chairman Com Krishne Gowda, Circle Secretary Com B.S Shivalingappa, Circle President Com G M Shastry, CHQ vice president Com Appalal Chakoli and Financial Adviser Com Ullas V Gurv to the dias.
The meeting started with the Presidential address by Com G M Shastri followed by Chairman Com Krishne Gowda. All the District Secretaries placed their report in the meeting and raised some important local and Circle level issues. Discussions were held on various HR and Field issues and also organizational matters after the implementation of VRS scenario, merger of SSAs etc. Circle Finance Secretary Com. Nagarajappa given the details of quata received from CHQ and Quata cleared to various districts and the balance available.
The lengthy and fruitful discussions took place towards strengthening of the Association in the due course. Some important issues were discussed in details and the house unanimously took the decisions and accordingly passed the resolutions to resolve issues regarding internal/external. The house directed the Circle Secretary to forward the reports/resolution to CHQ,General Secretary and President CHQ.
Speaking on the occasion, Com B S Shivalingappa CS and G M Shastri CP, on reviewing the reports submitted by the district secretaries they express their feeling that, the membership of our Circle will drastically come down after 31st January2020. Circle Secretary and Circle President expressed their displeasure regarding the continuous absence of some of the district secretaries for the meeting, especially Mangalore TD, Raichur TD, Bellary and Tumkur SSAs. They further opined that, there is an urgent need to visit these SSAs to revive the membership and to conduct the district conferences. They appealed all the District Secretaries to raise to the occasion and to strengthen the Association at district level.
CHQ vice president Com Chakoli Appalal briefed about the recent developments taking place at CHQ level and assured the support of CHQ.
Circle Secretary Com B S Shivalingappa summed up the report submitted by the district secretaries one by one and actively responded to the problems raised by the District secretaries. He said that the major problems pertaining to Mysore TD and Belgaum TD will be looked seriously and will be discussed with CGM Karnataka Circle.
